In one of the closest finishes of all time Jase Finlay from Bawley Point NSW has been crowned the Free Surf Bodyboarding Champion of Australia Pacific (Queensland and NSW).

Finlay, with a total vote of 19.5 per cent, outdid his rivals Nick Gornall (19%) and Chase O’Leary (19%) by the narrowest of margins. O’Leary, from Port Macquarie NSW, was the surprise package of the event with an insane one minute highlight clip filled with huge boost and deep barrels which saw him win the freesurfworldtour.com public vote. Nick Gornall of Gold Coast, Queensland pulled out his full bag of tricks and used a variety of locations in his one minute clip including the South Coast of NSW and an island beach break in Queensland. Gornall proved why is one of the most popular bodyboarders with a stylish attack on any ramp both large and small.
