IBA HAWAII: Stop 4 Westside Challenge
As the final stop of the Kellogg’s IBA Hawaii Tour, the 662 Rideship Westside Challenge crowned the overall season champions in their divisions. In the junior pro division Oahu’s Kawika Kamai took out the overall season title while Kauai’s Tanner McDaniel won out the Westside event. The event winner in the Drop Knee division was Kauai native Bud Miyamoto in his first IBA final with Big Island’s Keahi Parke doing the same in the Men’s Pro, while Karla Costa took out the Women’s Pro field. With an impressive display of disciplined riding, Kauaian Sammy Morretino finished top overall taking titles in the Drop Knee, Stand Up and Men’s Pro division. Needless to say, Sammy was stoked!
