Through a chance encounter, Yann finds himself leaving his familiar world of fine wine, prized cheese and warm, welcoming coastlines for a land of unimaginable harshness, threatening landscapes and an ocean that will test his very limits. As he grapples with the challenges of this new place, and even finds comfort within it, something bigger begins to take hold. The ‘Yannimal’ is born.
