What happens when over 50 bodyboarders come together and take over the Bristol wavepool? A whole lot of boogie love, that’s what!

Riders travelled wide and far to be a part of the biggest bodyboard take over at The Wave of 2022. For the second year running members of the “Bodyboard Froth” Facebook page took charge of the pond, leaving a couple of stray stand-ups slightly bemused.

It is always good to see so many friends, old and new come together for nothing more than the love for the sport. With over 4 hours of the higher expert settings on offer, the wave count was huge. Not as big as the FROTH levels though, there was plenty of that to go around!

The giveaway from the supporters was a nice touch too. Shout outs go to The Wave, Severn Brand, The Pit Surf Shop, Biskit Bodyboarding, Radco Fun Club and Sponger Mag for hooking everyone up with some banging freebies!
